No-Fault States and Liability

This is because PIP coverage is still applicable, regardless of whether the other driver was intoxicated.

Massachusetts law also allows injured parties to seek compensation for additional damages in cases where the driver who caused the accident was operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
